To act in response to a petition for recognition, received on June 17, 2025, on behalf of the Plano Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 2149, to be the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for Plano Fire-Rescue firefighters, in accordance with the provisions of the meet and confer statute as set forth in Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 142 and grant recognition of the Association as requested in the petition and determining that the City of Plano may and shall meet and confer with said Association without conducting an election by the voters; and providing an effective date. Adopted Resolution No. 2025-6-19(R)
