Background
This role focuses on enhancing, customizing, and supporting the Salesforce Platform to meet the City of Plano's application development, integrations, data, and reporting needs.
There is a current staff augmentation contractor moving to a professional services role and has been instrumental in delivering strategic initiatives including P-Card automation, badge request enhancements, and other Salesforce enhancements that improve operational efficiency and service delivery. The specialized knowledge of the City's Salesforce environment and integration ensures continuity of support for existing Salesforce applications and integrations while enabling the city to continue advancing strategic technology initiatives.

During the contract term, the Salesforce Developer Level Specialist will support the City's ongoing digital transformation strategy by developing new Salesforce solutions, enhancing existing applications, and expanding enterprise system integrations. Planned initiatives include continued integration and optimization with PeopleSoft and JD Edwards, implementation of a Copado platform upgrade to modernize application lifecycle management and deployment processes, and the development of additional workflow automation, reporting, and dashboard capabilities.
