Background
This annual contract is required to procure replacement parts, supplies, services, and technical support necessary for the continued operation of the City's proprietary Irrigation Central Control (ICC) system. These components are critical to maintaining reliable system performance and supporting effective irrigation water management and control.

A centralized irrigation management system is required to support both current operations and future growth. ICC is a proprietary system with exclusive technology, components, and functionality. As a result, related services, replacement parts, and supplies are not available through competitive sources. The system supports irrigation for approximately 1,200 acres of parks, athletic fields, landscaped areas, public facilities, and nearly 6,000 median trees.

The Parks and Recreation Department will procure ICC-related goods and services as needed directly from Interspec LLC, the sole source provider. The contract has an estimated annual expenditure of $150,000 and a base term of one (1) year, with two (2) optional one-year automatic renewals. Total potential expenditure over the full term is estimated at $450,000. Funding will be provided through CMF Account #353013, Irrigation Technology & Mechanical.
