Background
An Ordinance is being submitted for adoption to appoint Katherine Miller as Senior Associate Judge of the City of Plano Municipal Court of Record for a four (4) year term beginning October 26, 2026, and set to expire on October 25, 2030, and to set the compensation of said Senior Associate Judge.
Financial Summary/Strategic Goals
This request is to appoint the Associate Municipal Judge, Senior of the Municipal Court of Record of the City of Plano for a four-year term. The estimated amount to be spent in FY 2026-27 is $202,316 (including benefits) and is available in the FY 2026-27 Municipal Court Judge Budget. The future amount is estimated to be $219,175 (including benefits) for FY's 2027-28 thru 2030-31. All future years expenditures will occur within Council approved appropriations.
