Background
Approval of this contract is requested to provide the specialized expertise and development capacity necessary to continue the City’s business process and modernization efforts. Girikon Inc. will provide professional services encompassing business analysis, process design, application development, systems integration, testing, deployment, technical documentation, and post-implementation support.
The proposed services will support the modernization and consolidation of multiple Development Services systems and data sources. Girikon Inc. will also develop and enhance applications for key administrative functions, including artificial intelligence requests intake, contractor onboarding, facility badge access, emergency contact management, tuition reimbursement, and grant approvals. In addition to these ongoing projects, 41 process modernization initiatives have been identified and are awaiting evaluation, prioritization, and development.
During the contract term, Girikon Inc. will assist City departments with the development of new business solutions and the enhancement of existing applications. This work will include employee self-service capabilities, automated approval workflows, document generation, and integrations with PeopleSoft and JD Edwards.
