Background
Technology Solutions recommends the purchase of Professional Services from Insight Global to provide three (3) dedicated technical resources at a rate of $36/hour per resource, for an estimated 1,040 hours per resource (3,120 total hours) over a six-month term, supporting delivery of security services. Previously, this engagement helped the team build security architecture and engineering documentation, carry out annual training and phishing campaigns, and other security engineering and operational aspects.
These resources will act as an extension of the City's security team, providing dedicated capacity to execute the approved security services and enabling internal staff to focus on other high-priority initiatives.
Below is an overview of the scope of work these resources will provide support for:
Compliance & Audit Readiness - CJIS audit evidence preparation and ADA vendor compliance tracking ahead of the City's April 2027 deadline
Vulnerability & Endpoint Security Operations - expanded CrowdStrike vulnerability management coverage, enhancements of vulnerability management program, and Rapid7 security operations workflows
Certificate Lifecycle Management & Security Awareness - enterprise PKI automation via Keyfactor, DMARC enforcement, and recurring phishing simulation training
