Contract Modification No. 1 would authorize additional funding to Freese and Nichols, Inc. to perform wastewater studies assessing the potential impact of proposed developments on the city's wastewater infrastructure. If this contract modification is not approved, the City will lack the analysis needed to identify wastewater system capacity constraints, evaluate proposed developments, and prioritize improvements that reduce the potential for future sewer surcharging and overflows.
